Block 16N – Downtown Toronto (Regent Park)

Project Highlights
WellFab is leading a major mechanical infrastructure project at Block 16N in Regent Park, delivering a complete scope that includes the construction and installation of a modern substation, district heating and cooling systems, and advanced Energy Transfer Stations (ETS). This project supports efficient energy distribution and temperature control
throughout the development while integrating seamlessly with the existing district energy network.
Energy Transfer Stations (ETS)
WellFab is responsible for the installation and commissioning of advanced ETS units within
the building. The scope includes all piping, supports, and control systems required to
ensure reliable performance. Comprehensive testing and commissioning are carried out to confirm full integration with the building’s heating and cooling infrastructure.

Distribution Piping System Extension
As part of the project, we are extending the existing exterior Distribution Piping System (DPS) from Tubman Avenue into the P1 mechanical room. This work includes connecting
new piping to the ETS, strengthening system efficiency, reliability, and long-term performance.
Through precise coordination, expert installation, and thorough commissioning, WellFab
continues to play a key role in delivering critical energy infrastructure for one of Toronto’s growing communities.
