The EXPO 2022 feature presented WellFab’s approach to live-system work where continued operation is an important project requirement. Hot tapping can establish a new branch connection on an active line, while line stopping can create a controlled temporary isolation point for repair, replacement, or modification work.
Together, these methods give facility and infrastructure teams additional options when a conventional shutdown would create significant operational disruption.
