6″ PVC HOT TAP
Project Overview
This project involved adding a new 6″ branch connection to an existing PVC pipeline using a controlled hot tapping process. WellFab planned the work around material compatibility, connection alignment, sealing integrity, cutting control, and clean restoration of the new tie-in point.
The completed hot tap provided a reliable new connection while maintaining the integrity of the existing PVC piping system.

Project Impact

The project adds another material-specific example to WellFab’s hot tapping portfolio and demonstrates the importance of adapting the field approach to the piping system being modified.
