3″ TURNKEY NITROGEN HOT TAP

Project Overview

This project involved the installation of a new 3″ branch connection on an active nitrogen line. WellFab supplied the required fittings, valve, and hot tapping equipment, completed the branch welding, performed the live hot tap, and reinstated the system after testing and inspection.

The turnkey approach allowed the client to complete the connection with one accountable contractor handling the technical planning, field execution, quality checks, and final restoration.

Scope of Work

✓ Completed an engineering review and developed the execution method for safely performing the hot tap on an active nitrogen line.

✓ Supplied the required fittings, isolation valve, and specialized hot tapping equipment as part of a complete turnkey package.

✓ Prepared and precisely welded the new 3″ branch connection in accordance with the approved procedure and system requirements.

✓ Performed the controlled 3″ live hot tap while maintaining nitrogen system pressure and continuous operation.
